Arrays of waveguide radiators are the subject here. The spectral domain method is used extensively. Small finile arrays are solved via equations over the modes and elements. This work is one of the first using multimode spectral analysis.

There was supplied elements of the solution theory for singular integral equations in the class of wholly integrable and non–integrable functions and the elements of the theory of the simple and double layer potential for the Helmholtz equation.

The book is devoted to the development and generalization of the solution methods for border value problems for differential equations in mathematical physics with the help of analytical functions built in a special way. The factorization method turned out to be especially effective for this purpose. It was used to solve lots of problems in electrodynamics, the theory of elasticity, the statistical theory of communication.

The generalizations of the factorization method given in the book make it possible to extend the range of boundary value problems that can be solved; other analytical methods are also described.
